That Dating Game Dude

So for those of you that thought I was just making up that story about the original dating game dude. Here's his picture to prove it. Ha! What a face. Check out that hair, sculpted by the LA's best hairstylist (for the 70s). Anyway, this is another reason not to date. You will end up looking like that guy.

In all seriousness, at GC we want to let you know that we are going to change this generation. Each and every one of us. We have a calling and a great destiny in God. Purity, however, is the vehicle that will help us attain that calling. Our prayer and exhortation this week is to remain in His presence. Walk in the Spirit! Purity will bring you into your destiny. Choose today to serve the Lord with clean hands and a pure heart. There is nothing better than His Presence!

Have a great weekend.

See you next Thursday. 150 by 6/30.

Snoop Dizzle Returns (3 times in fact)

Last night was awesome. God is so good. I was surprised to see that snoop dizzle had filled out 3 different cards to win the raffle. He must have really wanted to win that shuffle. Now that I think about it we had some major celebrities at GC Ramona last night. In case you missed them here are the celebs and b-list people who "showed" up at GC: Governor Schwarzenegger (he didn't leave is phone # or email), Fun Noodle Man (he didn't leave any info either, I would like to know what school he goes to), "50" Cent (no info either), Keyser Soze (from the movie Usual Suspects), and of course the incomparable rap star Snoop Dizzle.

Not much is known about Snoop Dizzle, he prefers to keep "it" on the down low and to keep it real. He spends most of his time recording albums and is most famous for his ghetto hit "Yo Mama ain't mine". Through simple process of deduction I have found that his age is somewhere between 18 - 22 (two cards say 22, one says 18). He attends 3 different schools: Generation Church (I didn't know that was a school), as 22 year old he goes to Olive "Pierce" (hopefully a TA) and of course he has got most of his street wisdom and gold teeth from the "school of hard knocks". If you want to reach him by email you can write to: ghettofab@yahoo.com, urias2020@yahoo.com or visit his site yomama.net (Don't try these at home). Or you can call 555-1234 (no area code needed since he owns the number worldwide) or his 800 # 1-800-NO-DICE (yes, it is missing a digit).

Anyway, have a great weekend! Don't forget to bring someone to win a full iPod next Thursday as we go for 150 by 6/30!!

Unspotted

We are starting a new series called Unspotted. I am really excited about this series. We are going to get into some serious topics that we all deal with or have dealt with or eventually will confront us. I believe that as we explore this topic we are going to find out exactly how to live in this world but not to live of this world. We are going to find out what separates us from the rest of the world and how we can live, move and walk in His presence 24/7 365. The key is that we must remain unspotted, on the inside and out.

Don't forget, this Friday starting @ 3 PM is beach day at La Jolla Shores! This is a perfect opportunity to invite a pre-saved friend.

One more thing - on June 16th, GC will be in Ramona! Check the website for more details.
