New Look, New Year Coming

It seems a little presumptious, if not really early, to talk about the new year already but I am. Sort of. I just wanted to say 2006 is going to be phenomenal! Not just for The City Church but for GC. With so many things already cookin' it's going to be the greatest year yet. New messages, new features to the website, new sanctuary (or rather a decorated one) oooh, I can't wait.

But before we jump on the New Year Bandwagon we must finish the race of 2005. We have 5 weeks left in '05 including our Super Invite Night w. Pastor Judah Smith. My exhortation to you is that you would grab hold of the vision for 250 and compel your friends and neighbors, your classmates, etc. to come and experience Generation Church, or more importantly Jesus. As much as we push and contend and encourage we're not shooting for numbers we are going after a generation who desperately needs Jesus and we are the ones who stand in the gap. Our goal of 250 is so that we aren't just shooting into a blank landscape but we are aiming for a target that we can achieve through God's grace and mercy.

Let's not be a faithless generation that Jesus has to bear with, let's be a generation (church) that says I believe that with God all things are POSSIBLE! 250 is possible, salvation is possible, healing is possible, God visiting us is possible! Only believe.
